Pickford's House Museum

41 Friar Gate, Derby, Derbyshire DE1 1DA
01332 715181

A young girl who dances has been seen here, as has a "gaunt lady" who shouts at long-gone staff and moves objects around; meanwhile, in the garden, a "bent over gentleman" tends to the flowers and even offered a visitor a bunch before he vanished.

Update 10/9/20: Sam Vanter, the Business Administrator of Derby Museum and Art Gallery informed me, "Unfortunately we have had no recent reports of anything at Pickford's House." While contacting another Derby museum in March 2022, staff member Sophie suggested the Pickford House Museum, and after a check messaged me back on 23/3/22: " I have just had a chat with a couple of my colleagues and a couple of years ago 2 staff members were chatting in the Pickfords House basement and they both saw a figure walk past them and through a wall. Other staff members have also seen a boy looking out of the first floor window when the museum has been shut and this has been reported recently."
