Derby Cathedral

Bonnie Prince Charlie stopped at the Cathedral (which was then All Saints Church) on his march south to try and re-instigate the Stuart line to the throne. It is said the Prince is sometimes seen here. A "White (or Grey!) Lady" is also said to walk down the steps at the back (she may be the lady in tears who is carrying a young child), and a small boy, in addition to John Crossland, a criminal who was offered freedom if he hanged his brother and father and from then on, became a busy executioner! The scent of roses and lavender has also been detected in the churchyard too.
