The Red Lion Hotel

A female phantom has been sighted here, described as "a mixture of a human female figure shape that was matte black paper non reflective coloured walking past." There are also stories of "phantom footsteps, cold spots, irregular photographs and light bulbs burning out at an alarming rate." In the old room 10 (which has now been expanded into a family room), single men have reported problems such as "waking up to find a woman leaning over the bed looking at them and someone else saying they saw the reflection of a woman in the bath room mirror."

Update 21/7/22: When asked if the hotel have had any recent phenomena, they replied via Facebook, "we have not." However, a previous employee at the hotel related how, on at least one occasion, anything regarding ghosts was "hush hush" because the boss didn't want bad publicity, so who knows if anything is still happening there?
