The Hand Hotel

A "Grey Lady" has been seen here; she is said to have nursed her brother Albert who had contracted TB and haunts the room in which he died. Another figure has been seen standing by the organ; a third phantom haunts two of the rooms at the hotel. She died in childbirth and her husband is claimed to have been seen in another room; he is an employee who, it is claimed, hanged himself when he found his wife was pregnant by another man.

Update 19/7/22: Paul, a worker at the hotel, replied to my Facebook query asking about any recent phenomena: "Virtually every time we have a important function things are mysteriously switched off or go missing, sometimes our phone rings and when its picked up it goes to fax tone...we dont have a fax! Doors that strangely lock by themselves and thiers no key and hadnt been for years!.....lots of things really."
