The Abbey

There are two ghosts here; a monk near the stairs and a "White Lady." Glasses have fallen from shelves and been found smashed and at least one punter has talked of a feeling that something invisible was standing near him, and an employee felt a similar sensation in the cellar; she also felt someone walk by in her peripheral vision. The landlord once opened the pub in the morning only to find the beer mats scattered all over the floor, and the stools knocked over. Another time, one of the glasses and a lightbulb shattered while staff were restocking one morning.
