The Angel Microbrewery

When the pub is quiet, an unseen phantom can be heard singing. A newspaper in 2023 adds, "Deep below the beer cellar are caves, hollowed out of the sub-soil in the shape of a crucifix. The pub is said to be haunted after a chimney collapsed in 1801, killing a policeman. A prostitute was murdered there and the ghostly strains of her singing have been heard when the pub is empty."

Update 25/1/22: The pub responded to my Facebook query for any recent phenomena: "...Hi Paul! Thanks for reaching out, I'm afraid we can't really help with this. As far as we know, everything in normal, no member of staff or our landlord has reported inexplicable events at The Angel."
