The Bell Inn

The ghost of old landlord Robert Jackson has been seen walking through the restaurant. Another, more recent ex-publican heard the sound of arguing downstairs; the voices seemed to be those of his grandfather's mother and older brother. When he arrived in the area, there was no-one there, but upon return to his office, he felt something brush against him, and the calendar and pictures on the wall swinging. Two men in Edwardian garb have been seen in the restaurant, seemingly awaiting service before disappearing. A female ghost is said to inhabit the lady's toilets and a jester is reputed to be seen in front of the building. A poltergeist is said to throw things around behind the bar area.
