The Globe

An employee who went to the cellar to change the barrels slipped as she clambered over them, but she felt someone grab her and lift her up; but there was no-one there to thank. Some workmen who stayed here heard footsteps walking in the bar during the night. During other times, a sherry glass slid along the bar by an unseen hand whereupon it fell to the floor and smashed, and an invisible force launched a plug out of a bath.
