A 2024 newspaper interview with the landlord says, "I have seen a short bloke in a flat cap with a dirty face crouching under a table. He's hunched up. I've seen him three times, normally when I'm cleaning. My partner saw [a ghost] upstairs in the flat. I was in the office and he came down here as white as a sheet and said he'd seen a man with a big Victorian collar put his head around the door" The article further says that, "There's obviously something in the lounge in the corner at the side of the fire as that's where the dog [a Doberman called Miss Tia] just sits in the door and stares."
