A number of phenomena have been reported here; the statue of a horse being flung across the bar, the bell for last orders ringing by itself, glasses being thrown, doors slamming, shadowy figures and even the sound of children singing "Ring-o-ring-o-roses." Candles that had been lit in the disused hotel rooms have also been found extinguished, and a reporter who visited found that the door had seemingly locked itself.
