St Thomas a Becket Church

Squire Cook (some say his name is Robert Crooke) is said to continue his jolly lifestyle of partying here, his burial place. The story is that running backwards 12 times around his tomb will cause him to arise; other stories say that this was cause one to hear the sound of crockery rattling. A phantom man riding a spectral horse is also said to have been seen in the graveyard; the horse is either grey or white in colour.
