The upper floors of one of the mills' buildings is said to be haunted by a woman who worked here, who was raped and murdered by her supervisor. There are other ghosts, including a man who looks life-like, a "shadowy lady" in black clothing and a man who seen walking from the old Dye House to Mill Number two. Machinery, cries and grunting noises have been heard too. Outside, children's voices have been heard amongst the trees and prehistoric phantoms experienced too.
