The Jews House Restaurant

Once the home of Bellaset (or Solomon) of Wallingford who was hanged for forgery of coins in 1290, the top floor and attic seem to be the centre of the hauntings, with footsteps on the stairs, the sound of doors creaking (where there are no longer any doors!), pots and pans moving around and strange photographs taken.

Update 9/6/22: Front of House Assistant Manager Gemma Cook informed me, "We have not had any odd experiences at The Jews House since there was a fire in 2006. We believe this has cleansed the building." On 1/3/2025, this was confirmed by a worker named Samantha who said, "Unfortunately, we had a fire in 2010 and believe that moved any ghost on. Since then, we had not heard of any stories." Note the different date.
