Greestone Stepsaka "Greestone Stairs" Greestone Place, Lincoln, Lincolnshire LN2 1PF The ghost of an old clergyman, who is said to have committed suicide, has been seen here halfway up the stairs under a crooked lamppost, sometimes walking through walls; additionally, a figure looking like a nun (some say a nursemaid) and carrying a baby was also seen here, accompanied by a drop in temperature. She is said to walk a few inches above the ground and at least one report mentions that she walks from the convent's entrance and across the pathway, where she lays her baby down on a bed of flowers. A head is also said to roll down the steps, similar to the one observed further up the hill at Drury Lane. Floating orbs have been reported around the archway on the stairs, too.
