A phantom is fleetingly seen in the billiard room; there is also an invisible spectre that likes to pinch bottoms. The ghosts of former guests Isambard Kingdom Brunel and William Marwood are also said to return here - Marwood's ghost is said to look out of the window on the building's east end.

Update 3/8/22: Mick Bellamy responded via email to my query for any recent phenomena: "It is still somewhat amusing that people think we are "Haunted", whatever that is supposed to entail, and whether or not we have any unexplained instances, we are a private members club, and wish to keep it that way. Good luck in finding something, indeed anything, elsewhere."
