When this was "The Gardeners Arms" public house, an old man was said to be seen sitting in a chair by outgoing landlords. Taps are found turned on, windows opened, footsteps heard - and squabbling coming from upstairs too. A male figure has also been seen. It is not known if these phenomena persist.
