Once the Royal Hospital, there were stories of doors that were closed or have become stuck suddenly springing open, patients and staff who shouldn't be there, and people who walked into lifts only to vanish. Trolleys would move by themselves, footsteps and voices would be heard, taps would be found turned on and a man was seen sitting in the morgue. When challenged, he grinned and vanished through the wall! It is not clear if these phenomena are still occurring.
