Derwentwater Arms (Closed)

Footsteps and a figure that entered a room at midnight, looked at the occupants in bed and then walked around before leaving have been reported here.

Update 3/8/20: Kat, a worker at the pub, tells me that, "Unfortunately there are no reports of anything in the past few years... Just cases of people seeing things out of the corner of their eyes that aren't there... " A follow-up inquiry over four years later revealed an upturn in activity; Kat replied on 4/2/24, "There have been many experiences from duvets being pulled off, to customers feeling someone is behind them, myself talking to my husband as I thought he was downstairs but he wasn't in the building. I had seen a shadow and felt someone push passed and assumed it was him. Our dog also barks at a particular spot in the evening everytime he is downstairs whilst staring at the same spot."
