Curry Cottage at Lovers Leap

In the 18th century, Hannah Baddalay was courting William Barnsley, but when he broke off their relationship, she threw herself off the cliffs; however, her skirts acted like a parachute and broke her fall. It seems that she did not recover and died a year later - her ghost is said to re-enact the leap here.

Update: 22/1/2020: Responding to an email request from myself, the owners of the property, who have been there for 5 years report that they have experienced nothing.
