Penrhyn Old Hall

A number of ghosts haunt this building; there is said to be "a bad tempered young man [who] haunts the function room" while on the old dance floor there is said to be a phantom soldier. It is reputed that he is "frustrated" because he can't go off to fight in the war. A monk is also said to walk through the room about the Baronial Hall, and a young girl is to be encountered on the stairway. She is reported to have been a descendant of the Pugh family who once inhabited the building and was killed by her own sisters to prevent her marrying a non-Catholic.
