Given the nickname "Annie," a ghostly woman has been seen on the upper floors of this museum; she wears clothing dating to the Victorian era and has often been seen watching people from a window. An article on the ghosts of this region also claims that, "Other haunted sites include Apprentice House, where pauper children were lodged and schooled. Two women continue to haunt the site, with builders spotting a ‘white lady’ there in the 1980s."
