The ghost of a Scottish soldier, walking his dog have been seen here. Dogs have also refused to pass a spot here. The backstory is that a soldier helped a woman whose dog had disappeared down a rabbit warren, but to no avail. The soldier went off to fight in World War One and when he returned, he bought a new dog for the woman and they married. The phantoms are to be seen where he first met his future wife.
