RAF Hemswell

Sounds of men laughing and cheering, 1940s music, a ringing telephone and aircraft engines starting up have been heard here, and people have sighted men in old aircrew uniforms and felt the sensation of being pushed too, along with tales of doors slamming and lights turning on and off by themselves. An airman on fire has been seen running along the road and a screaming engineer, who lost an arm in an accident, is also to be observed occasionally too, as is a man who walks beside the nearby road and who promptly vanishes. Drivers passing the area (now empty fields) have also reported music and seeing landing lights, and a silent aircraft in the sky has been reported as well. There are also tales of a phantom dog.
