A shadowy figure has been seen in the bar here; it is said he may be a Spaniard who was killed here after refusing to be press-ganged. A figure in a long wax jacket has "often" been seen at the bar, too.

Update 2/3/22: The pub responded to my query asking about any observed phenomena that might have been reported: "not recently"
