The Queens Head (Closed)

A landlord refused to work in the bar when he saw a cavalier walk through the wall; and there is a report of unexplained neighing coming from the rear. A figure in uniform was also seen in the back room by a man who was cleaning the property; he left to phone his wife to pick him up as he didn't want to go back in alone to lock up. A man described as middle aged and wearing "ordinary trousers and a coat" has also been seen going down the stairs from the area of the ladies toilets. A lady going to the toilets bade him hello but he ignored her and then turned as if to enter a (non existent) door - and walked right through the wall. Another customer in the ladies toilet heard a cubicle flush and saw the door swing open, but there was no-one there.
