The Peveril of the Peak

Glasses and other objects are said to move by themselves here. Rumours also exist of, "shattered glass clearing itself up and glasses taking themselves to the glass-wash (!)" A 2025 newspaper article states that, "Patrons of the Peveril of the Peak have reported uncanny incidents such as pint glasses mysteriously levitating off the bar and crashing into the glass wash, broken glass vanishing without a trace, and chairs shifting when no one is nearby. Some tipsy visitors even claim to have felt something kick them in the back - whether that's a ghost or just the effects of alcohol, we can't be sure ... Before leaving the pub, I queried the bartender about any spectral encounters she might have had. She admitted that while she'd heard whispers of the pub's haunting, she hadn't experienced anything herself."
