Royal Exchange Theatre

The founder of this venue, James Maxwell, is said to haunt the building; the wig room is also the haunt of a spectre (said to be female) that likes to thrown things around and moving costumes off hangers. It is also said that after the IRA bombing in the 1990s, the builders working on this venue heard a piano playing but on entering the room, there was no-one there, just the piano.
