St Peters Church

Dogs being walked react to something invisible here, while it is said that a man and cat have been seen fighting next to the church; the snarling sound of a large cat has also been heard and a knight silhoueted against a blue mist. This comes from a legend where Sir Percival Cresacre was attacked by a wild cat. Although he managed to kill the beast, his own wounds were too severe and he was found dead on the porch.
