Cusworth Hall

A spectral lady has been seen staring out of the upstairs window; she is said to be holding a cane and wearing a shawl. In the same room, a piano has been heard playing; it is unclear if this is the source of the report of "mysterious music [being heard] while locking up, even though everything was unplugged." A man has been seen standing by the fireplace and children have been heard and seen running in the area of an old classroom.

Update 2/8/22: Staff at the hall responded to my query for any recent phenomena: "...I’m not aware of any recent sightings or unusual / inexplicable happenings in the Hall in the more recent past. The Hall was closed for a long period during the pandemic and still hasn’t returned to its original opening hours, so there have been fewer people on site."
