The Mount

A smiling young girl has been seen on the balcony here; on the staircase there is said to be the spirit of a sad man who hanged himself; and sobbing, attributed to a pregnant woman who was beaten and left to die, has been heard too. A small bearded man and the cracking of bones have been heard in the cellar - which was once used to store bodies. A phantom nun and a young woman have also been seen in this area. Meanwhile, in room 6, a 30-35 year old man woke up a guest during the night...and then vanished! The brewer's website notes that, "Customers and staff alike have all reported that a little girl lives in the pub, with one account claiming that she likes to play hide-and-seek with those using the meeting rooms. Members of staff at the pub have also spoken about the ghost of a barrow boy named Charlie, who will barge into you if you are in his path." It also says that, "the hotel attached to the pub was built on top of an old graveyard."
