Hull New Theatre

The ghost of a man in black cape and top hat, nicknamed "Charlie" has been seen here - on one occasion, the air went freezing cold as the spectre walked by an actress. Other times, the phantom has appeared as a "grey hooded misty shape," and a figure in a "dark grey riding coat, with long hair curling up at the ends." Footsteps, knocking on dressing room doors and the sound of typing on computers and typewriters and the jingling of keys (which immediately afterward sounded as if they had been dropped) have been heard, too.

Update 29/9/21: Rachel Crow at the theatre replied to my query, "We have not had any sightings or ‘odd’ phenomena."
