Fulwood Barracks

A legion of Roman soldiers are said to walk along the line of the old Roman road through the middle of the parade square. It is also said that they are only seen on dark and stormy nights - and only from the waist up due to a change in the ground level. There is also reputed to be a friendly presence in the chapel, which would move cleaning materials overnight, and allegedly flung a brass pot about. It also interfered with the automated motion of a camera during a documentary shoot - but only while pointed at the pulpit.
