Cedar Court Hotel HarrogatePark Parade, off Knaresborough Road, Harrogate, North Yorkshire HG1 5AH 01423 858585 A chambermaid named "Mable", who died 200 years ago is blamed for strange events taking place in one wing of the hotel (nicknamed 'The Spooky Corridor'), where objects have been moved and occasionally rooms have been cleaned by the spectre! Some have reported seeing people dressed in old fashioned clothing, and one person even said she found two ladies from the Victorian era sat on the end of their bed when they entered their room.
