The ghost reputed to haunt these tunnels is said to be William Coulson, who was hit by a coal wagon and killed in 1852.
Update 17/2/22: Clive Goodwin, the Victoria Tunnel Co-ordinator informs me, "I personally have never witnessed any unusual activity but my guides have some memories of recent events" and provided an email from colleague Pete Harrison; "There was the ipad coming off the speaker and landing face down on the floor between lockdowns which could not have fallen off. Also Phil seen someone walk past the ramp at the bottom in a top hat/stove pipe and a suit. Both John and Phil heard someone speak when they were at the top of the ramp on Ouse Street and they both thought it was the other one. They then realised that someone else was there."
