Dryburgh Abbey Hotel

The "Grey Lady" has been seen in the outbuildings and on the chain bridge over the River Tweed. She is supposed to be a lady who lived in the house and had an affair with one of the monks in the nearby abbey. But the abbot discovered their affair and had the monk killed; in a fit of despair, the lady threw herself into the Tweed.
