Castle Fraser

Piano music, laughter and voices from the empty hall have been heard, and of the many apparitions reported, a spectre in a long black gown seems to be the most famous. She is said to be Lady Blanche Drummond who died of consumption in 1874.

Update 16/8/21: Responding to my Facebook query for recent phenomena, I was told, "The most common ones being hearing gentlemen's voices in the library which stop once the door is opened. Figures on the staircase. Sounds of children playing around the library area (hallways before and after). A lot of staff don't like being in the North Bedroom but no-one can really pinpoint why. Staff conversation of needing to investigate one of the chimneys, and entire contents of the chimney came down shortly afterwards (not been touched for 100 years)."
