The Tinners Arms

Zennor, Saint Ives, Cornwall TR26 3BY
01736 796927

Footsteps have been heard above the bar, usually just after closing time and at night when the pub is empty. A dog once reacted viciously to something in the area above the ceiling. Objects have also been found to have been moved, including pictures and other decorations being thrown, glasses levitating from the tables and smashing onto the floor; this is blamed on a poltergeist, who is said to be active just before a thunderstorm. Witnesses have also reported seeing the ghost of a tin miner by the front door of the inn, covered in blood, lying across a broken bicycle.
