Dead Man's Walk

An alleyway that leads from the High Street to the Guildhall (and next to Boots) is known as Dead Man's Walk because this the route that the condemned were taken on the way to be hanged. Footsteps have been heard in this lane, and some have even seen dark figures behind them too. Sensations of being pushed, headaches, a tightening around the throat and hearing a rustling noises have occurred as well.
