The Miner's Arms

Mithian, Saint Agnes, Cornwall TR5 0QF
01872 552375

Renovations in the 1960s seem to have catalysed activity, but a recent exorcism may have stymied spectral activity (it is not known by this author). But in the past, sachets of sauce were found scattered in the morning, glasses would fall from the shelf but not be broken upon landing on the floor, one guest received a blow on the head, and a phantom figure has been seen. In addition, chairs have been thrown, a visitor was hit on the leg by a knife that flew out of a drawer and the landlady's daughter was hit by a candlestick holder. Little wonder that an exorcism was performed!
