The Waterman's Arms

Landlady Sarah Salmon says, "There are two ghosts from two different eras. But they are nice ghosts, there's a little girl called Emily and an old landlady who is not so pretty, she appears quite a lot ... My dad saw the old landlady ghost and he lost the plot, she was sitting up there in the breakfast room. She's always in the same clothes with long grey hair, it's freaky. We found out some history, little Emily had run out the side of the building here and a horse and cart knocked her over and trampled her. Now she's a ghost here. My dad didn't believe it at all but he was the one that got the biggest fright out of all of us when the ghost sat up there." The hotel is also renowned for people often hearing bumps in the night, and the sound of keys jangling.
