The White Hart
1 New Street, Padstow, Cornwall PL28 8EA
A ghost nick-named "Wilfred" (who may be a priest who died here many years ago) has been blamed on footsteps and a rasping noise from one of the bedrooms. Laboured breathing has also been heard, milk bottles rearranged, a heavy oak door swing open - and two figures seen upstairs.
Update: 30/11/21: Curtis Jacoby replied to my email message: "Our family has owned The White Hart in Padstow for the past 30 years or so. I'm happy to report there have been no inexplicable phenomena during that period."
