The Dartmoor Inn

Poltergeist-like activity has been reported here, apparently when there is a change of management. Phenomena include levitating glasses which are then dropped onto the floor.

Update 31/1/22: Tess responded to my email asking if there had been any recent reports: "Although there has been a few mentions of ghosts at the Inn, I’m afraid no reports as such. The previous owner has mentioned that there was a ghost but my husband and I lived there for a year and experienced nothing. He mentioned that if the ghost did not like the new owners they would haunt the Inn but as I said nothing... Must be a good thing! ... Sorry I can't offer any further information – I like to believe there is a spirit in the Inn, but as I said, nothing every to confirm it." A follow-up message two years later was also replied to by Tess and on 26/1/24 she emailed, "Apart from a few mumbles from some staff who have seen a shadow, nothing here I am afraid."
