Hardy's House, Max Gate

The former home of Thomas Hardy, cold breezes have been felt here, and tobacco smoke detected on occasion. Strange shadows are said to have been seen too.

Update 15/4/22: Michelle Caesar, the Visitor Experience Officer replied to my query for any recent phenomena: "My colleague Chris has recently seen something in the garden here at Max Gate just a couple of months ago I think, he was inside the house and says he saw a ghost through the window."
