A spectral woman wearing Victorian garb has been seen walking down one of the corridors.
There have been some recent occurrences: after doing his security rounds on "F" wing (now a men's wing and dating back to Victorian times) a worker was sitting in his office when he noticed someone with long blonde hair pass his window who could not be accounted for despite another check. During this check, footsteps were heard and this led to the top floor where a figure was seen - it was a woman - and she faded away as the witness approached her. Another time, a footprint of a child aged about 4 years old was seen on the floor (the floor had been leaking allowing a print to be left on the damp floor). One night, an employee went to get a snack from the visitor's room when he saw a head peering at him from the other side of the vending machine; but he could find no-one in the room. Keys being placed in a lock and footsteps have been heard in the area of the mail room, but again, there was no one there. Shadowy figures of women, looking as if they were hanging out some washing, have been seen in the carpark.
