The Farmer's Arms

When a sealed Saxon well was unearthed under a rock in the floor and opened in 2007, poltergeist-like behaviour was unleashed; women were said to have been struck by flying objects, a clock flew off a wall, people felt as if they were being stroked and the landlady was pushed off a stool. Additionally, a "tramp like" figure was seen standing by the old well, and a ghostly face seen peering out of one of the windows.

Update 26/8/21: The pub responded to my Facebook query thus: "I’ve been here for the last few years and haven’t had or heard of anything happening."
