The Star

A nearly full pint of beer was once seen to slide along the bar and plummet off the end, smashing to pieces. There was no-one nearby to account for this. This was explained as being due to the ghost of a former landlord who showed his displeasure when punters discussed subjects that he was not comfortable with. There have apparently been many stories of activity here but details are not recorded.
