The Bear Hotel

A female ghost has been seen here, wearing a dress with lace cuffs and a white skirt; some say that she is Queen Charlotte who lodged here the year before she died even though the passed away elsewhere. Another phantom is a Grey Lady. Other reported phenomena include a housekeeper who watched a grey figure closing the curtains in a room which proved to be empty upon investigation; voices heard coming from a room that was also unoccupied; and a barman who turned to obtain a bottle for a customer - but upon turning back, the man had vanished.
