Anne Boleyn was said to have been tried and found guilty here, and the sobs, pleadings and cries of a woman's voice heard in the Undercroft are believed to be her; however, historical records show that Anne was not tried here. The barge that people say carried Anne from the Palace to the Tower of London is said to be seen too, even though this is dubious!
