Ye Olde Murenger House

A ghostly woman appears in the top floor window and in the past, there were stories of a serving wench and an old man. Today, there are accounts of a man (possibly from the Second World War) in a dark coat and large black hat seen heading from the front of the pub to the back, and a lady from the same era in a pale blue dress has been observed upstairs - she may the same phantom seen in the window (see above). A bar lady also heard "out of time sounds" of a lively pub and an old till being rung.
