Manorbier Castle

Manorbier, Tenby, Pembrokeshire SA70 7SY
01834 870 081

During the First World War, a relief guardsman stationed on the battlements was perturbed to find his companion not in position, but had passed out on the village green. The wayward soldier said later that a woman in white had approached him but did not stop when challenged. He fired a shot and it went through her, at which point the panicked soldier fled before fainting.

Update 13/9/21: Katie Sore, a worker at the castle informs me that, "we have had reports of people seeing something in the south tower corridor. But neither myself or staff have ever experienced anything." When asked what the 'something' was, I was told "apparently a lady in white." When asked of the most recent sighting, Katie replied, "a couple of years ago. nothing since"
